Serves: 6 pieces
Ingredients
  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 cup paneer, grated
  • 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, grated
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • ¼ ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • 1 small green chili, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Water as required
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and garlic. Keep it aside.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, add paneer, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, coriander powder, green chili, ginger, mint and fresh coriander. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
  5. Remove the edges of the bread slices. Gently flatten the slices with a rolling pin and keep them aside.
  6. Take one slice of bread and place about two tablespoons of paneer mixture toward one of the long edges.
  7. Apply some water to the other long edge with a brush. This will help seal the roll properly.
  8. Gently start rolling the edge with filling. Keep the roll tight to secure the filling. Place the roll on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Repeat with the remaining bread slices.
  10. Bake the bread rolls in the preheated oven for 12 minutes. Brush the rolls with the garlic butter and place it back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes.
  11. Remove from the oven. Serve it warm with your favorite dip or chutney.
