Pudina Chutney - Green Mint Chutney

Deliciously spicy dip prepared with cool fresh mint leaves, ginger and yogurt is best served with tandoori dishes.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
  1. In small chopper or blender, add 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, salt and lime juice. Blend to fine paste.
  2. Gently whisk the mint paste into the rest of the yogurt.
  3. Store it in a refrigerator for up to 7 days.
Notes
Note: Do not blend the entire ½ cup of yogurt in the blender. The mixture will become very liquid.
