Bread Paneer Rolls are healthy and delicious snacks to enjoy for anyone. The whole wheat bread slices stuffed with tender paneer and aromatic spices are so easy to make. These Bread Paneer Rolls are baked in the oven, which put them on the top of the list for healthy snacks. I brush the rolls lightly with a melted garlic butter right when I take them out of the oven. The garlic and butter duo dressing on warm bread, my kitchen …… smells so heavenly.

You can make the paneer filling ahead of time and make the Bread Paneer Rolls in minutes when needed. Bread Paneer Rolls are perfect for school lunches, after school snack or finger food for a party. Dip it in Imli Ki Chutney or Pudina Chutney to add a spicy touch or simply enjoy it with good old ketchup.

How to make Bread Paneer Rolls:

  1. Preheat the oven and line a baking sheet with a parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and finely chopped garlic. Keep it aside.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, add paneer, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, coriander powder, green chili, ginger, mint and fresh coriander. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
  4. Remove the edges of the bread slices. Gently flatten the slices with a rolling pin and keep them aside.

  5. Take one slice of bread and place about two tablespoons of paneer mixture toward one of the long edges.

  6. Apply some water t0 the other long edge with a brush. This will help seal the roll properly.
  7. Gently start rolling the edge with filling. Keep the roll tight to secure the filling. Place the roll on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Repeat with the remaining bread slices.
  9. Bake the bread rolls in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes. Brush the rolls with the garlic butter and place it back in the oven for another 2-3 minute.

    Bread Paneer Rolls - soft paneer filling rolled in crunchy bread brushed with heavenly fragrant melted butter and garlic - so quick and easy to make.

    Ingredients
    • 6 slices of bread
    • 1 cup paneer, grated
    • 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese, grated
    • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
    • ¼ ground black pepper
    • ½ tsp coriander powder
    • 1 small green chili, finely chopped (optional)
    • 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
    • 1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
    • 1 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • Water as required
    • 1 tbsp butter, melted
    • 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped

    2. Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper.
    3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and garlic. Keep it aside.
    4. In a small mixing bowl, add paneer, mozzarella cheese, salt, pepper, coriander powder, green chili, ginger, mint and fresh coriander. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients.
